You came, I followed
I never knew the way
You called, I answered
Your voice told me to stay

I laughed and answered
Questions asked and conjured
Keeping my heart at bay
Unknowingly letting it stray

Did you even noticed I was holding back
Behind the answers and the smiles, something lacked
I never even noticed the fall
The quickening of it all

I was confused as I walked along
Partly due to the exciting call
I never knew and still don't
What it is that I did wrong

I followed but you never looked back
I spoke but you never listened
