Ordinary

I wake up in the morning
I go to work all week long
I drive my car just like everybody
Get pissed as jerks that cuts along

I smile a bright smile
I laugh at the right moments
I engage in conversation
Just like what mom taught me then

'Cuz I'm an ordinary girl
Just an ordinary girl like you
I cry out when I have to
But hold out all the words I know
for the sake of being polite, you know

I love from afar now
With guts to say "hello" to you
I get sad when you look elsewhere
But can I blame you when you do?

'Cuz I'm an ordinary girl
Just and ordinary girl
Seeing grass greener elsewhere, but here

I find other's lives exciting
Cuz I find mine quite boring
I fly out to exotic sites
To try find the spice, to no avail

So I go to the city of lights
I stay up all the nights
I drink, I was merry
I was still thinking that ....
I'm just an ordinary girl
Just an ordinary girl, like you
Though others may say,
I'm not quite the ordinary girl
I'm the extra ordinary girl
Quite unlike you
