Well, let met continue my story since my new computer came. Yaay! I'm quite excited. Finally back connected into the web. Sad really. The 3 days that I was out of contact with my e-mails and other sites I frequently visit, I was lost. I felt like I'm floating and missing out on oh so many things when in fact, really, I was not at all missing out. My e-mail was full of junk (as usual) and the sites I frequent did not even have any updates. The only site that suffered was my blog. Hence my adding posts now that I have a computer.
Now, where did my story end? Saturday! Yes. Saturday. The oh-so-scandalous evening at Olivia's birthday party. See, I was making arrangements to go to the party with my friend Jason who called me at around 9 (when I was to pick him up around 9:45) to say that his body is majorly reacting to the medications he's been taking for his allergies. He was totally about to hurl and so he is not able to go to the party. I then continued to contact Svetlana and made arrangements to pick her up at her abode. As I was talking to her, she said..."oh don't worry about the stripper." I was dumbfounded. "A what? , " was the only reply I could make. She calmed me down and said that she'd tell me the story when I pick her up.
When I finally had her in the car, I asked her to tell the story. Apparently, our friend KC (who by the way was in PA with Maria) bought Olivia a stripper as a gift. Now, I figured it would not be too bad. Though she did request one Mr. Black Sugar to not do the full monty, which I may say he gladly agreed and stuck with (in technicality anyway...I shall explain later).
As we spread the news to the rest of the guests (except for Olivia...for it was a surprise party), we were all a little weary. I was a little concerned since most of the guests were heterosexual males....and the stripper? Guy! Well, the women at first were a little hesitant but by the time the stripper came (no pun intended), we were all worked up. It was majorly fun!
The stripper "act" was majorly scandalous, granted it was my first stripper ... so I really don't know how this thing actually goes. But man! Olivia looked like she was being violated but laughed. It was crazy and funny all at the same time. There was a lot of screaming. Of course there are incriminating pictures (I was the official photographer) ha! He lifted Olivia (one handed, mind you so he was strong). He had his thong off his butt but not the front though, part of the time, he took off everything but had his assistant give him a towel to wrap around him and just continued to "entertain" the birthday girl. It was just really, really funny and fun. KC definitely made his mark on the party though he was not there. Go KC!!! Yaay!
Yesterday was my first day of freedom. It was weird. I definitely realized how much I need to be doing something. I hope and pray that I find something that I would be happy doing. I told Mrs. Shea that I would help her with her special ed class while I'm still looking for a job. Jobs. Is it still a job if you like it? I guess I'm still at my lost stage for what I used to do did not pan out. What is it that I really want to do in life? Plenty of people have asked me that question and yet I have no answer. I still don't. Why can't I answer it? Why don't I know what I want?
I still have this grandiose idea that I will be a performer some day. I jest when I say that I want to be a Rock Star but behind it is a desire to really be one. What are the chances? Really, what is the statistic? The possibility is there, of course but it's what, 1:trillion. I don't know what I want to do and I just want a neon sign to come out of nowhere and say, "Child, this is what you are meant to do!" It's crazy but I'm hopeful. That when it stops to be gloomy and stormy, with all this chaos, a nice sunshine would be there greeting me with some clarity. Here's to hoping...maybe a stripper would come up to me and reveal something....(again, no pun intended).
