In the hopes for a brighter future
I often wonder what it would be like when I no longer have to prove myself. When I have established what it is I am suppose to be. I do, however, also wonder if what I embark on now will be what I would be at the end. As our cliches go, life has many twists and turns. Dreams change. Opportunities come and go. Life has its way in making us what we ought to be and not want we planned on becoming. It's funny like that...makes things interesting, I guess. The adventure is figuring things out for yourself. That's the journey, right? Hopefully in the end, you can look at what you have done and be happy with your choices. You gambled and you win --that's how I see it. You gain something on all the choices you make. It may have negative consequences but you learn something so you still gain something and in the end, you still win. It's really a win and really win situation here. Its really in the way you look at the world that makes or breaks you. What's the other cliche? ... you either look at life as glass half empty or half full. For me, it's always half full. No reason to dwell on the negatives. It seems lately, and more often than not -- we expel more energy on the negatives. That's not how I want to live my life. Mind you, there are days when I get pissed off too but I don't let it ruin every experience. We miss out on many things doing that. And so life goes on with a rainbow in the sky, with the sun shining bright into the future I smile and say HI!
