I haven't written in awhile. I've been so busy and when I get home I'm exhausted. Last night, my body felt as if it was late at night when in fact it was actually only 8ish. I passed out around 9ish. I guess I needed the sleep.
Anyway, last Thursday, one of the sub-companies at work sponsored a happy hour. At first I thought I shouldn't go since fw would be there. I wasn't really up for awkwardness. Then decided that his presence should not dictate what I can and cannot do. So I went. I'm glad I did. I had fun. Arlene came along with the little tyke. He's gotten so big. Well, at the end of the night, I tried to give him the "way out" so he would not have to say goodbye to me by turning my back to him. Oddly enough, I still got a hug. I find it weird but who knows really what that means since its always awkward between us. Oh well . . . keep on keepin' on
