on the go
It seems when I got back from Hawaii, there isn't any time left for fun and games. My spontanious self has been put on hold for a bit since work and other commitments have occupied most of my day. Right now, I've been looking to see where I can steal time. Who invented 24 hours anyway? or maybe the right question should be: Who invented an 8 hour work day? We ought to encourage more fun and games than actual heavy duty work. Work should be fun. It makes the day go faster ... brighter ... more energetic. Actually, to be perfectly honest, I like what I'm doing so far. It's not great but I'm challenged and I'm learning. I haven't reached that "cruise control" mode like at my last job. I guess it would take awhile. It took me what, 5 years to leave booger? Well, so far it's not bad and I thank God for it. As for guitar playing? Well, it's going. I'm getting better. My fingers are listening a bit more than before. I'm more confident that before though I still get bashful. But coerced enough, I just might be able to play something. My repertoire is not quite great yet but I'm working on that. I'm giving myself more slack for not being great and at the same time, giving myself more time to practice. I have to cut some activities out but TV isn't really that productive so that was an easy decision. Now, all I have to do is get my ass into the gym and I'll be good to go. I have to tone up again. I haven't gained weight but I'm pudgy again. doh! You know how it is, muscle is heavier than flab so the more flab I have, I look pudgier though my weight is still the same. SO -- gym it is. Motivation needs to kick in sometime soon. Or maybe my desire to sleep. Eh well ... we'll see how goes the days. =)
