Random thoughts

I've been dabbling on the writing for a while now. Some I write about myself. Some about topics I know nothing about. Some just flows out of the blue. Most however, aren't song worthy. Maybe that's my thought. I'm guessing once I figure things out and that things click in my head that all would be well and the music would flow and that any poem I write would become song worthy. Not quite sure if that theory actually works but it's a thought.

so these days, the topic would be the impending elections. All I could say about it is, PLEASE VOTE. I can't stress that enough. I would encourage you to vote my way ... which is not the topic of this blog but instead I would just say to just get out of the couch and just walk over to your voting precinct and cast a vote so that YOU can be heard. Let me tell you something, if someone starts complaining about anything about our government, the first thing I ask? Well, did you vote the last election? If the answer is yes, then go on with your opinion and I'd chime in the conversation. Otherwise, shut that lid and move out of my way. If you didn't even bother to cast your opinion on a ballot, then why complain? Seriously?!? I never understood that. Anyway, that's my tirade on the value of going out to the polls and make a difference.

I'm at home right now....trying to motivate myself to get to the gym and work out. I've been a total slacker and just need to start going again. This time around, its kicking my butt. I can't seem to get out of this lazy funk. Hopefully soon, it will go away. And I think its really funny that the people who do go out and work out, (in my experience anyway) kinda have this new attitude where they are just light on their feet and all is well. I'd like to get to that again. Get my energy up and get the energy of life back into my system again. This funk just needs to go.

Job hunting by the way is just painful....If anyone out there have any suggestions to make this easier, hey! I welcome your guidance.

Oh and let me tell you what I was reading (which I haven't finished as of yet), 100 years of Solitude by Gabriela Garcia Marquez. Now that book....random and quite weird. No wonder I haven't finished reading it. But if you're one who likes lots of sex, well ... there's lots of those in the book. Everyone was hooking up with everyone. It's wild. Anyhoo...that's all for now! Ciao!
